Boog (formerly J-Boog)

Jarell “J-Boog” Houston formerly of the multi-platinum Sony/Epic group B2K has his own production and entertainment company and plans to go global with his entertainment empire. Boog has already finished his highly anticipated solo album debut entitled “My First Words” which is set for release the first quarter of 2007 and a hot mixtape entitled “The 6th Day” which is set to be released fall of 2006. They co-CEO’s also have a slew of other hot hip-hop and R&B artists laying in the cut honing their projects to keep the heat coming such as “Whoodstokc” which you may have caught on the soundtrack of the blockbuster film “Any Given Sunday” flowing along side Jaime Foxx, Common and The Guru. Whoodstokc is also known for his lyrical genius on Jaime Foxx’s hit single “Whatcha wanna do”. The hot tracks come from one of two of The Cap’s in house producers, “ES-3” best known for the Mariah Carey remix of “Shake if off” featuring Young Jeezy and Jay-Z or “Ghost” who makes his producer debut on Boog’s red hot first single entitled “Lickety Lick”.

J-Boog (Born Jarell D. Houston on August 11, 1986) has decided to drop the “J” and be known as “Boog” hails from Compton, California. Boog gained international fame as a member of the multi-platinum, gammy award-winning sensation B2K. Boog was a teenage heartthrob receiving thousands of letters from fans on monthly basis. Boog took three-years off to regroup and now he’s back in the studio putting the finishing touches on his solo debut Hip-Hop album. In 2004 he appeared in his first film “You Got Served” which was a huge hit at the box office. Boog also has a lead role in the upcoming film “Stepping” and the sitcom “Mama’s Boys” which is set to premiere this fall.

Boog is an artist with a business mind and a fan base of millions spanning across the globe to go along with it. He’s been around the world and back. Boog established himself as one of the most popular members of B2K. He will always cherish the experience with B2K and also respect those who made the success happen.
