Beverly Bond

A true music connoisseur, Beverly Bond's passion for music and uncanny ability to read the crowd, has solidified her as one of the premier DJs in the world. Over the last six years, Bond, a former Wilhelmina model, has brought her versatile talent to the most exclusive events in the world with performances at the VH1 Fashion Awards, ESPN X-Games, US Open, and for myriad celebrity clients like including Diddy, Jay-Z, Michael Jordan, Prince, Britney Spears, and Martha Stewart.

Known as the "DJ's favorite DJ" amongst her peers, Bond’s musical knowledge spans countless genre. Well-versed in hip-hop, rock, soul, funk, and pop, Bond effortlessly blends eras creating an unrivaled party vibe. Bond has emerged a prominent voice in hip-hop, having been recognized as one of the most influential DJs in the country. A winner of the prestigious "Justo Mix Tape Award" for "Best Female DJ," Bond's status as the only female member of the Heavy Hitter DJ collective (which includes DJ Enuff and Kanye West) gives her significant street credibility.

Bond has performed on MTV’s “Total Request Live” and “Direct Effect” and BET's "Rap City" and "106 & Park," and been featured as the host/DJ for NBC’s "Weekend Vibe." Most recently, Mercedes-Benz chose Bond to be its spokes-model as a voice of hip-hop its current international campaign. In addition, Bond has toured with some of hip-hops biggest acts including Erykah Badu, Amerie, The Roots, and Musiq Soulchild.

Widely recognized in the media as a taste-maker, Bond was recently described by the New YorkDaily News as one of “New York’s most fashionable females.” Bond is frequent commentator on ABC and featured in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle editorials for Vogue, HarpersBazaar, and Glamour. She is also a regular contributor to Essence and One World.

Bond has served as a panelist on a number of community summits on hip-hop music and culture. She sits on the board of Diesel’s U-Music Competition which seeks out the most original and cutting edge unsigned bands and producers. Love Heals, a leading foundation for AIDS education, recognized Bond’s presence in the community in 2006, naming her one of New York’s Fifty Fabulous Females.

One of hip-hops rising producers, Bond as already produced material for Alicia Keys and remixed records for hip-hop luminaries Nas and 50 Cent. She served as the Musical Director/Music Producer/DJ for Comedy Central's "Comic Groove" where she produced the show's musical score for its entire eight-week run.
