This dance/pop music vixen has garnished rave reviews as one of the topup-and-coming artists of the year. Currently recording her debut album, Julissa Veloz is unleashing a tsunami of upbeat and sensuous singles to heat up the anticipation of her album release. Her first hit single released in February 2010, "Take Control", sky-rocketed up the Billboard Dance chart to #8 and was licensed to 10 countries which led to performances in top clubs across Europe and the U.S. Her second single released in October 2010, "Predator", broke out instantly on Billboard Dance chart and is expected to shatter previous record performances. With over 10 projects coming out in the next year with DJ's and artists from around the world and performances everywhere from Las Vegas to Poland, you can expect to hear Julissa in every corner, on every station.

Julissa Veloz is not a novice when it comes to being a top performer. By the age of 10, Julissa began taking lessons with distinguished opera singer Nadine Herman in Newark School of the Arts. During her rigorous vocal training, Julissa performed at several affairs with CEOs and Presidents of corporations such as Verizon and Prudential and she was even recommended to attend Juilliard by world famous pianist Dalton Baldwin. She has several music scholarships under her belt, many of which she was the first vocalist to receive. Julissa even expanded her artistic reach by writing several monologues which she later performed with her cast in the Broadway of New Jersey, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

All of these achievements were acquired by the age of 14. Moving forward, Julissa Veloz tore herself away from opera to pursue R&B and pop with world famous music producer/teacher Gerry Williams who worked with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Celine Dion and Mandy Moore. During this time, Julissa co-wrote and recorded her first two demos, "Far from Me" and "Feel the Music" to release to the public. After disappointing results, Julissa returned to the drawing board and decided to audition for American Idol. Julissa had a very successful run on the world famous show and made it to the final rounds before being cut due to laryngitis. Fortunately for Julissa, luck was around the corner when one of her family members met label owner and world famous DJ/Producer, Rod Carrillo. Carrillo instantly saw potential in Julissa and within a month, she was signed to Carrillo music and her first single "Take Control" was recorded.

Her new single "Sweet Sugar Poison" is set to drop in April 2011.
